The general convinces the deputies in the Rada: Ukraine will hold Donetsk airport. They don't believe him
Kyiv, January 13 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Bogdan Bondar had to arrive at the Verkhovna Rada and make a report to deputies on the situation around the Donetsk airport, where heated battles between the Ukrainian military and militia resumed.

“The military personnel are provided with ammunition, food and water. Active shelling began yesterday. The situation has stabilized, but there is a threat of further shelling of our positions,” the general said.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian positions at Donetsk airport are covered by 152 mm artillery, Grads and tanks.
Deputy battalion commander Yuriy Bereza asked how long during the rotation of the Ukrainian military at the Donetsk airport they will be subject to inspection by the militia.
“This is a humiliation of the dignity of military personnel. A decision was made to carry out the rotation using other methods without this inspection,” the general assured.
Another deputy, Borislav Bereza, said that he was not satisfied with the official’s explanations - the positions at the airport are not as reliable as the general claims.
“Who will bear criminal responsibility if the Donetsk airport is seized? The tower was shot at by tanks for three days, and only 5 mines were fired in response. Who will be responsible? Why isn’t the enemy’s equipment destroyed?” - Bereza was indignant.
Bondar told everyone who was dissatisfied that he was ready to communicate with the deputies privately.
Maidan deputy centurion Vladimir Parasyuk then ran up to the podium and declared that he would not leave here. However, after just a few minutes, colleagues managed to persuade Parasyuk to return to his workplace.
