Poroshenko's representative is bitter about Tymoshenko's trip to the USA
While the most important issues for the future of the country were being decided in Kyiv, Yulia Tymoshenko, who declared her presidential ambitions, went to the United States.
Petro Poroshenko’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Irina Lutsenko, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is not the first time Yulia Vladimirovna was not present in the country and did not vote. I was not present in the hall when issues such as recognition of Russia as an aggressor country, voting on the reintegration of Donbass, condemnation of illegal elections in Crimea, and denunciation of the Treaty of Friendship and Partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation were considered,” Lutsenko said.
According to her, there are about six documents of this kind that Tymoshenko did not vote for.
Also, Poroshenko’s representative claims that Tymoshenko went to the United States during the session week without notifying the Verkhovna Rada.
“She did not officially declare that she was going to represent the Ukrainian parliament, but only such a business trip can be official. She was going about her business. And now we see photographs of her with people on blogs, where they say that she was invited there for free, that she did not go there at her own expense, that someone invited her there, that it was not a business trip. It’s just that a person went to communicate, knowing that this would be a serious week, knowing that the procedure was ending, knowing that the committee had taken place,” Lutsenko noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, Yulia Tymoshenko previously went to the United States to ask for stronger sanctions against Russia and to consult on her party’s new program.
