South Africa's representative to the UN gouges the West for Ukraine
The “world gendarmes” at the UN were reproached for double standards in relation to Ukraine and the war in Donbass.
Thus, the representative of South Africa at the UN Security Council meeting held late the night before said that countries that talk about “Russian aggression” in Ukraine must first abandon the practice of carrying out “color revolutions” around the world, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We listened very carefully to the comments of some colleagues on the issue of Ukraine. We express the hope that the same colleagues will back up their words with deeds on Venezuela - to respect the territorial integrity, sovereignty of Venezuela, to comply with Article 24 of the UN Charter - “Prevention of aggression against any UN member state.”
And third, do not undermine the Venezuelan economy by holding significant amounts of Venezuelan currency in its banks and in the banks of its allies. In this case, they will receive our respect,” said the South African representative.
