They will try to bring representatives of Crimea into PACE and the OSCE
Moscow will soon include representatives of Crimea in its delegations at such international platforms as PACE and OSCE.
The representative of Crimea in the Federation Council, Sergei Tsekov, stated this during a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After some time, for example, in six months, it will be necessary to propose someone from Crimea to the Russian delegation to PACE. Because to the same Chubarov, if anyone can give a substantive answer, it is the one who really knows the situation on the peninsula.
I understand that this will probably have a very rabid counter-position, but after some time it will be necessary to try to introduce a representative of Crimea into both delegations (in PACE and in the OSCE - прим. ред.),” suggested Tsekov.
In turn, the head of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, supported his colleague’s idea.
“I have a very positive attitude towards this; we need to work through this issue in advance, and not pose it as a fact. Because Crimea is our territory, our subject of the delegation,” added the head of the committee.
