Zelensky’s representatives are making crazy money from prisoner exchanges – SBU officer
Representatives of Ukraine make money from prisoner exchanges with the Donbass republics, taking as detainees embezzled businessmen convicted in the DPR and LPR.
The former head of the SBU Investigation Department Vasily Vovk stated this on the air of Emigrant Radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to a former high-ranking SBU functionary, security forces even detained some participants in the exchange, revealing these facts.
“Now it has turned into some kind of commercial work. That along with the fact that two or three patriots are released, ten to twenty business exchanges, so-called, are added. When a person remained on the territory of ORDLO because he was afraid of being held accountable by the current government of Ukraine. It was stolen.
Then he also stole from terrorist territory, and he was already put in this jail there. Now it’s better for him to move here, because here the issue can be resolved more easily, but there they might kill him in the end, this is not an official prison.
I’m not talking about the conditions of detention in our prisons, but still there is some kind of correspondence there. Therefore, they are ready to pay money to be patriots; by and large, the separatists who remained there betrayed their homeland in the political sense of the word. They pay to be picked up.
Of course, it is more interesting to make an exchange when you can still make money from it. I have concrete facts, law enforcement agencies have them - let them study them. Because after the exchanges, even some are arrested and investigated,” Vovk said.
