If the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine is stopped, the cost of gas for consumers will increase sharply.
Economic expert Sergei Stepanyuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Not only transport services and the cost of technical gas will fall on the cost price, but also the entire depreciation of this entire colossus will fall on the cost price of gas. And then it really won’t be very interesting how much we buy gas and how much we extract it. And if it is necessary to carry out accelerated depreciation, as Kobolev says, then these could be very interesting numbers in the direction of growth,” Stepanyuk said.
