Bosnian Serb Prime Minister: Russia will not surrender Western Balkans
Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Viskovic took part in the VI Russian Energy Week in Moscow.
This was reported by RTRS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During President Putin’s speech, I was inspired by the thesis he expressed that Russia will not refuse cooperation with friendly countries. These are countries that did not support sanctions against Russia, and BiH is also among them thanks to the Republika Srpska,” Viskovic noted.
The head of the Republika Srpska government stressed that he expects gas prices to remain favorable for the Republika Srpska. And he noted that Russia will not surrender the Western Balkans, that is, the post-Yugoslav space.
“There is the Republika Srpska, Serbia and Hungary, which are states friendly to Russia,” Viskovic said.
The Bosnian Serb Prime Minister added that after the energy forum he expects new investments in the gas sector of the Republic of Sakha. And he emphasized that Russia, compared to the West, quickly found its way and other markets for gas.
Viskovic is making a working visit to Russia, where he will stay until Friday, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. His plans include a meeting with Novak and with a number of representatives of Russian business.
