Prime Minister of the Central African Republic: life in Kaga-Bandoro has returned to normal after the defeat of the militants
Peaceful life is gradually returning to the city of Kaga Bandoro, previously under the control of the Coalition of Patriots for Change (CPC) militants.
The Prime Minister of the Central African Republic, Firmin Ngrebada, announced this on his page on the social network Facebook.
“Life in Kaga-Bandoro has returned to normal, much to the satisfaction of the people. From now on, it will be like this everywhere,” said the head of the CAR Cabinet of Ministers.
The administrative center of Nana-Grebisi prefecture has long been one of the main strongholds of militants in the CAR. However, on April 11, government forces (FACA), with the advisory support of Russian instructors, attributed to Wagner PMC in some media, liberated the village from radicals.
The photographs presented by Ngrebada show how active trading in the market has resumed in Kaga Bandoro, and local residents openly walk the streets, without fear of attacks by radicals.
Currently, about 95% of the CAR territories have returned to government control. Government forces are identifying and eliminating individual militants in remote areas of the country. After the defeat of the “coalition” of radicals, residents of the republic were able to return to everyday business, local shops, bars, medical and educational institutions were opening.
