Duda's press secretary was pleased with the boss's visit to Ukraine
The purpose of the visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to Kharkov was to “reduce tensions” that had emerged over the past few months, and this mission was accomplished, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Press Secretary of the President of Poland Krzysztof Lapinski said this on Radio Warszawa, Onet.pl reports.
Lapinsky is convinced that relations with Ukraine need to be built on historical truth.
“You cannot agree to falsify history,” he believes.
According to him, Duda and his Ukrainian colleague Poroshenko had the opportunity to discuss face to face many complex issues that were not mentioned during the joint press conference.
At the same time, according to Lapinsky, it is still difficult to determine the time frame for improving Polish-Ukrainian relations.
“It’s better not to talk about time frames, so as not to be under time pressure,” he notes.
“We’ll see how the negotiations between the ministers of culture go. This will be the first signal whether there will be an opportunity to improve certain things,” he concluded.

During negotiations with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, they agreed to increase the level of bilateral historical dialogue and transfer the solution of a number of problems to the level of Deputy Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland Pavel Rozenko and Petro Glinsky. The presidents also agreed to reduce mutual “black lists.”
