The press service of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko distorted his words from today’s speech to deputies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Although there was no live broadcast from the event, a video of Lukashenko says that Belarus is not going to be part of any state, “even fraternal Russia.”
This phrase is not on the official website of the President of Belarus. Instead, the press service left: “This is our country. We are sovereign and independent. This is something to be proud of."
This is not the first time Lukashenko has been censored by his subordinates. On the day of the parliamentary elections, the official website did not include another phrase that went viral: “Why the hell do we need such a union?!”
