The Head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“The day before, a video appeared on the website of the Press Center of the ATO headquarters about how servicemen of the 93rd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Dokuchaevsk allegedly knocked out an infantry fighting vehicle of the DPR Armed Forces. The press service of the Armed Forces of the Republic decided to look into this fact, as a result of which it turned out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine actually knocked out the equipment, but it was not a combat vehicle, but an ambulance that evacuated the wounded, which violated the norms of the Geneva Convention,” Bezsonov said.
Also, the press service of the DPR Armed Forces published a report from the place where a UAZ burnt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, converted into an ambulance, was located. The operator of the tactical group "Mospino" (APU), when aiming an anti-tank missile, clearly saw a red cross on the body of the UAZ. Nevertheless, he fired.
“I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the burned ambulance was towed to this place at night from the scene of the incident. Because the valiant “warriors of light” did not allow anyone to get there to evacuate the bodies of the dead while it was light and continued to fire the area with mortars,” said the military correspondent.
“After covering this fact, the Ukrainian video and recording were removed from the website of the Press Center of the ATO headquarters. I think someone got hit on the head for this,” he noted.
“This once again confirms that the Ukrainian side does not disdain any methods of warfare,” concluded Daniil Bezsonov.
