The presentation of the film "Nemtsov" turned into a scandal
On Saturday, in the very center of Rostov-on-Don, an unknown girl with a portrait of Vladimir Putin on her chest threw a cake at the coordinator of the liberal movement “Open Russia” Maria Baronova.

Baronova, together with her minor son Sasha and surrounded by Rostov liberals, was returning from the fashionable Hermitage Hotel, where, together with the leaders of the new Open Law project, Alexander Solovyov and Ilya Novikov, they presented Vladimir Kara-Murza’s documentary film “Nemtsov”.

As the Moscow activist herself said on her Facebook, a piece of cake hit her in the neck. It was not possible to interview the victim, as she and her retinue quickly disappeared behind the glass doors of the hotel.
Activists of the Rostov NOD organized a single protest picket with the slogan “Heroes die at the post, and not with a whore on the bridge! Nemtsov (Eidman), Khodorkovsky – TRAITORS!” Two supporters of Khodorkovsky tried to interfere with the picket.
As it became known, the presentation of the film itself was not without scandals. Participants in the meeting said that during the event, one of the activists, Parnassian Boris Papayan, took the floor and suggested that the opposition focus on Mikhail Kasyanov, who is in Russia, and not Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who has gone abroad.
This proposal did not suit the gathered liberals, who were receiving feeding from the ex-head of Yukos, they began to shout and drive Papayan away. Maria Baronova cunningly decided to calm the troublemaker by offering to take her place on the presidium.
In short, the situation in the opposition camp that evening was more like the situation with Vasisualiy Lokhankin from “Voronya Slobodka” in “The Golden Calf” by Ilf and Petrov - it seems that the competition between the two Mikhails for influence on the liberals is intensifying. True, as you know, whoever pays gets the girl to dance.
