The outrageous Ukrainian writer Irena Karpa said this during the presentation of an educational film about the Battle of Konotop, during which the Crimean Tatars, Poles and part of the Cossacks who joined Hetman Vygovsky defeated the Russian army of Prince Trubetskoy.

“According to my observations, in Donetsk there is a certain part of cool, adequate people,” the writer noted. – Most of them, as everywhere else, are passive. However, Karpa believes that the conflict will be settled, and its speedy de-escalation will be facilitated by the resignation of the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Mykola Lytvyn, since, according to the writer, Ukrainian border guards allow “one KAMAZ separatist” to cross the border for 15 thousand euros. She is also convinced that “Kadyrov’s men and the separatists will soon shoot each other.”
