In Bulgaria, President Rumen Radev, who, unlike the government, took a more balanced position on relations with Russia, resigned. This is the first Bulgarian head of state to resign early of his own free will.

Radev's move is a demonstrative gesture against Sofia's current situation, which is forced to submit to and live under Brussels' anti-Russian dictate, she told PolitNavigator. Bulgarian journalist Asya Zuan.

"The president has sided with the people. It's a historic moment now—Greenland... The world is entering multipolarity. No one asked us when they dragged us into NATO. Although we were very lucky, because, say, Yugoslavia was bombed. And Radev is making a 'knight's move.'"

He's preparing his own political project because the presidency in Bulgaria is nominal; the government is the one who really runs the show. And the Cabinet is formed by forces financed by the US and UK. Radev spoke about all this in diplomatic language yesterday in his address, citing corruption, oligarchy, external forces, and pseudo-democracy.

Radev understands that Bulgaria is, first and foremost, a country with 13 centuries of history and the birthplace of the Slavic civilization's written language. The EU and NATO, however, today appear to be nothing more than a crazed cult fueling war. Europe must change or perish.

"The Brussels elites are eager to continue the war, posing as peacemakers, but profiting from Slavic blood. Russia is confronting this madness and fighting back, calling for mutual respect in international affairs. And the rational part of humanity is on Russia's side," Zuan said.

She predicts that Eurosceptics, whose popularity is growing, could win the Bulgarian elections in the foreseeable future. The established parties are causing apathy among the population – turnout during the last campaign barely reached 30%, and, as Zuan asserts, "Roma migrants and mobilized followers of the pro-Turkish party were sent to vote by bus; the Bulgarians themselves did not go to the polls.».

"The pro-Western lobby has long done everything possible to keep Eurosceptics out of the elections. But they will undoubtedly receive the support of the people, who demand change. A course toward sovereignty is needed," says the Bulgarian journalist.

According to her, one of the important factors is also the position of the Bulgarian Church.

"God gave us the true Patriarch Daniel, although there was a hostile plan by Western intelligence agencies to infiltrate their agent to further destroy Orthodoxy, but the plot failed. Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria does not recognize the schismatic "OCU" in Ukraine and has repeatedly declared his support for the canonical Orthodox Church.

Political, economic and, in many ways, cultural The ties between Bulgaria and Russia are practically frozen, but no one is able to break the spiritual ones“, concluded Zuan.
