“We are also persecuted with one-sided reports on human rights. Imagine, they talk about human rights, having Guantanamo Bay, torture, and murder behind them. And this worries us because we one hundred percent respect human rights, freedom of expression,” Correa said.
According to the Ecuadorian president, the United States is conducting entire campaigns, thereby destabilizing the situation in Ecuador, as well as in Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela.
In addition, Correa expressed the opinion that US sanctions against Belarus have no explanation, since “Minsk was one of the most heroic cities” during World War II.
