The President of Croatia added salt to Ukrainian wounds
Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who visited Moscow yesterday for the 2018 World Cup final, is convinced that we need to cooperate with Russia and not isolate it.
She stated this in an interview with AP, reports “Kommersant”.
“We would like to maintain a dialogue about common threats to our security. We need to work together,” said the Croatian President.
She also commented on the meeting planned for today between the presidents of Russia and the United States, expressing hope that the leaders of both countries “will demonstrate a sufficiently responsible attitude towards stability in the world and transatlantic relations.”
According to Grabar-Kitarovic, the upcoming bilateral summit “could defuse international tensions instead of increasing them.”
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian propagandists branded with shame footballers and leaders of European countries, in particular Croatia, who ignored calls from Kyiv to boycott the 2018 World Cup. Moreover: the President of Croatia gave her Russian colleague a T-shirt of the Croatian national team with the inscription “Putin”.
