President of Croatia to Serbs: “Either the EU or Moscow”
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic responded to the Hungarian government's call to accept Serbia into the EU.
The Croatian leader also criticized the head of the Hungarian government, Viktor Orban, for his pro-Serbian position.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Milanovic responded to a rather critical message from the Hungarian government to the EU, signed by Viktor Orban, which mentioned Serbia seven times in a positive context and called for the country to be admitted to the European Union.
“It is very strange that the prime minister of one small power publishes such manifestos,” Milanovic said. – Serbia must fulfill the conditions, they must decide whether they are for the European Union or for Moscow. “I have nothing against Moscow, but a choice needs to be made between Brussels or Moscow, and it will be difficult for the current Serbian government to avoid this and it will be necessary to clarify.”
Also, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs stated that it does not share Hungary’s position regarding Serbia.
