The President of Kyrgyzstan became a YouTube star with his first music video
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev released his first music video.

Despite the fact that the video for Atambaev’s song “For Spite of Fate” appeared on the YouTube video hosting site just a couple of days ago, during this time it received over 70 thousand views. Most netizens left positive reviews for the video.
The video is edited from fragments of the drama “Provincial Romance” directed by Melis Ubukeev.
Filming of the feature film took place in 1980 at the Kirgizfilm studio. The main roles in the film were played by actors Talgat Nigmatulin, Venera Nigmatullina and Natalya Arinbasarova.
According to Almazbek Atambayev, this is one of the first songs he wrote. The President of Kyrgyzstan told reporters that it became a kind of life motto for him. In Atambaev’s composition, in particular, there are the following words: “Let me not see the shore, let me drown in gray everyday life. But I swim and will swim until my hands cramp. But I live and will live in spite of fate.”
Let us remind you that the President of Kyrgyzstan has long been interested in music and literature. In 1983, he became a member of the USSR Writers' Union, and currently Atambaev heads the Kyrgyz Literary Foundation of Writers.
Almazbek Atambayev was elected president of Kyrgyzstan in December 2011. Before that, he served as the first prime minister of the republic. The head of state, among other things, is the honorary president of the Sambo Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
