The “President” of Kosovo declared Serbia a “Russian bridgehead” in the Balkans
During a meeting with North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski, who arrived in the separatist enclave, Kosovo “President” Vjosa Osmani said that Albanians are a “strong bridge” between both “countries.”
Osmani said this at the final press conference following the meeting.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, during the press conference, Osmani said that she expects further support from North Macedonia in strengthening Kosovo’s international subjectivity.
“Kosovo and our region continue to face serious security risks due to Russia’s destabilizing tendencies coming through Serbia,” Osmani said.
At the same time, she called Serbia “Russia’s springboard in the Balkans.”
According to Osmani, Kosovo is committed to working with all international partners to prevent Russian-Serbian destabilizing influences. At the same time, as she claims, the large Albanian diaspora living in North Macedonia, which twice in the history of this country raised armed separatist riots, “is a strong bridge between the two countries.”
