The President thanked the people and reminded the army that the state fully funds it
Russia finances all the needs of its army.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a meeting of the expanded board of the Ministry of Defense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to draw the attention of the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff, and all the commanders who are represented here. We have no restrictions on funding. The country, the government - they give everything that the army asks for, everything. I hope that the answer will be properly formulated and appropriate results will be achieved,” Putin said.
The president himself believes that special work needs to be done on issues related to automated control and communication systems using artificial intelligence technologies. Putin also called for improving drones, which should be integrated into a single intelligence network capable of providing information to every fighter.
He called for improving the complex of equipment for personnel: night vision devices, high-quality sights, new generation sniper rifles, first aid kits, food, dry rations, uniforms, shoes, protective helmets, body armor. Putin ordered the active use of useful information about NATO troops received in Ukraine. The President hopes for help from domestic designers.
Putin also thanked the people of Russia for helping the army.
“I want to sincerely thank our citizens who, at the call of their hearts, help the Armed Forces, send vehicles, additional equipment, equipment, warm clothes to the front line, send letters and gifts to the wounded to hospitals. Even if the Ministry of Defense provides everything necessary in some segment, you still need to say thank you very much to people for this and bow deeply. “I ask the Ministry of Defense to be attentive to all civilian initiatives, including taking criticism into account and responding to it correctly and in a timely manner,” the Russian leader said and added that even “emotional” criticism cannot be ignored.
“The Russian Defense Ministry has clearly done its homework and analyzed the mistakes. As a result, they made proposals and received the support of President Putin. He spoke with details and urged not to brush aside criticism if it is for the good. There will be no militarization of the economy, but the transition to a digital army will have to be made,” political scientist Marat Bashirov commented on the board in his TG channel.
