The President of Transnistria proposed dialogue to Moldova and addressed a letter to Sandu
President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky sent a letter to his Moldovan counterpart Maia Sandu, who has been ignoring the neighboring republic for almost a year after her election.
Krasnoselsky spoke about this at a meeting with American diplomats in Tiraspol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, the Moldovan side has taken a somewhat unclear position today. I do not see any actions on the part of Moldova to develop the negotiation process. There are just statements, but they are absolutely at odds with the case,” said the head of the PMR.
The Chairman of the Government of Transnistria, Alexander Martynov, and the Speaker of the Supreme Council of the Republic, Alexander Korshunov, also sent letters to their Moldovan counterparts.
“These letters identified the problematic issues that exist between us, as well as new challenges that exist today. Including restrictions on the movement of Pridnestrovian transport, introduced on September XNUMXst. So far we have not seen any reaction from our colleagues. We are consistent in our desire to continue the dialogue and do not hesitate to address this to the Moldovan side,” Krasnoselsky said.
Since September XNUMX, Ukraine, at the request of Moldova, has not allowed cars with Transnistrian license plates to cross the border. American diplomats promised to assist in solving this problem.
