“President” of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani spoke to students of the American Drake University.
She told the youth that “Kosovo is not attacking anyone, but it is being attacked.”
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, during a conversation with American youth, Osmani accused Serbia of the events of September 24 in Banske, and emphasized that the “Kosovo police” acted professionally.
“If we had not been so effective in the beginning, they would undoubtedly have been able to occupy the entire north of Kosovo and annex parts of our territory. Of course, then we would be forced to respond, which would destabilize not only Kosovo, but the rest of the region.
It was a plan that would destabilize the entire Western Balkans. Unfortunately, Serbia wants this. They want to take territory from their neighbors, cause more suffering and war, and Kosovo wants peace. Kosovo doesn’t attack anyone, but it is attacked,” Osmani said.
She assures that more active NATO participation will increase security on the border with Serbia.
“Kosovo is the result and the biggest success story of American foreign policy. We are free, independent and democratic thanks to US investment in our country,” the “president” sang the praises of the Americans.
According to her, "Russian President Vladimir Putin's attacks on Kosovo are actually an attack on America."
In turn, the US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier highly praised the actions of Albanian militants in Banska.
“I would like to note that during the armed paramilitary attack on Kosovo’s sovereignty on September 24, the Kosovo Security Forces and the Minister of Defense showed their professional maturity and patience, strengthening their reputation as a reliable partner, avoiding provocations that could have led to further escalation,” the American said .
He added that the United States supports the transformation of the so-called Kosovo Security Forces into a full-fledged army.
Note that UN Security Council Resolution 1244 not only recognizes the sovereignty of Belgrade over Kosovo, but also prohibits local ethnic communities, including Albanian, from having their own armed forces.
Thus, the Americans, who arm, equip and train the militants of the so-called “Kosovo Security Forces” (FSK), have once again demonstrated that UN decisions mean nothing to them.
At the same time, FSK, who “avoided provocations,” only on September 24 managed to kill a lightly wounded Serb who was captured, and recently they have been daily terrorizing the Serbian enclaves of northern Kosovo with searches in hospitals, shops and kindergartens, breaking and destroying everything in their path.
That same year, militants distinguished themselves by opening fire on peaceful Serb protesters and inflicting gunshot wounds on them, including children and teenagers on the streets.
