The “President” and the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo quarreled over the right to travel to the USA
A conflict has arisen between “Prime Minister” Albin Kurti and “President” Vjosa Osmani over who will represent Kosovo in Washington when signing a financial agreement with The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Albanian media in Kosovo reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to insiders that appeared in the regional press with references to “government sources,” the conflict between the “president” and the “prime minister” of Kosovo initially occurred due to the fact that Kurti considered the signing ceremony of the agreement in Washington as a good opportunity to appear in the United States, where he had never been as an official. To date, Albin Kurti is the only Kosovo leader who has not yet visited the United States on an official visit.
However, Vjosa Osmani, who has been overseas several times, received an education and taught there, and is also part of the circle of the democratic establishment, also intends to go to Washington. On this basis, a scandal arose among the proteges of the US democratic elite that once supported each other.
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) was created by the US Congress in 2004 with the purpose of providing grants to American satellite states.
