At the first opportunity, migrant workers will finally leave Ukraine
The migrant workers who returned to their homeland saw that the Ukrainian state was unable to provide a basic level of protection for its citizens.
Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst of the alternative expert government, stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After everything that the state and government have done to people during this quarantine and continues to do, the number of workers will also increase compared to what it was before quarantine, as soon as the opportunity arises. We cannot assess the situation in the grand scheme of things, they scared us from all angles - hide under the bed and don’t come out anywhere. Why should people live?
Therefore, I think that they will rush so hard that their heels will sparkle as soon as the slightest opportunity arises to move from here. Even more will move in the direction of Poland, follow the family reunification program, and take their families out of here.
It is no longer possible to expect that workers will continue to send material assistance here, as was the case last year. The process will be irreversible from the point of view of emigration from Ukraine. Because everyone understands perfectly well that the government and the state are incompetent. And they cannot provide a minimum, basic level of protection for their citizens,” Zemlyansky said.
