Donetsk, May 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, as a result of an armed confrontation during the storming of the regional prosecutor’s office, according to unofficial information, more than 50 people were injured.

According to the Department of Health of the Donetsk Regional State Administration as of 19:30. 26 people sought medical help.
“All of them were taken to different treatment and preventive institutions in the city (neurosurgery and trauma departments), however, after assistance was provided, 24 people were released for outpatient treatment. Of the 26 applicants, four had gunshot wounds, including wounds from traumatic weapons. As a result, out of 26 applicants, two people were hospitalized (neurosurgery). Three emergency medical teams were at the scene,” the department said.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, one of the law enforcement officers was wounded - he was taken to the city hospital.
As Navigator reported, today supporters of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” stormed the regional prosecutor’s office. Law enforcement officers used weapons, tear gas, and stun grenades. From the protesters, stones were thrown at the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the law enforcement officers were unarmed and that the shooters were provocateurs.
