Under Ukraine, Crimea turned into a garbage dump - People's Artist of Russia
During the time of Ukraine, Crimea fell into disrepair and was depleted. Russia is investing enormous amounts of money in its development.
Honored and People's Artist of Russia Alexey Guskov, who spent his childhood in Kyiv and today is persona non grata in Ukraine, stated this on the air of the Antonyms program, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Guskov, who also ended up on the snitching website “Peacemaker” because of his support for the return of Crimea to Russia, said that he did not renege on his words, although he continues to love Kyiv.
“I really, really love this city. How can you not love it if you had your first kiss there, graduated from high school, you have so many friends... Every year I went to Yalta, to Crimea, since oh, what a time. And when it was Russian, when we lived in union, and when it became Ukrainian. I saw how under Ukraine this peninsula, this heavenly place, turned into a complete garbage dump.
Before my eyes, this went so far as to make it impossible to buy fish, flounder, or mullet in restaurants in Yalta, because they all sold it to Turkey - but that didn’t happen here. The amount of investment that has now come to the peninsula is clearly visible on the highway, the embankments, the hotels, and everything else. I see this with my own eyes,” Guskov said.
