When the conflict is frozen, Ukraine loses people and territory – Pogrebinsky
Ukrainian radicals cannot allow the war in Donbass to end, since this would mean the initiation of criminal cases against them.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is clear that when this whole situation ends, and when it turns out that there will be real trials, criminal ones, against all of them - Parubiy, Poroshenko and so on, then they don’t want this. So they will boil the water endlessly so that the crisis does not end... One option is a freeze, and with this freeze the mechanism of losing Donbass for Ukraine forever will actually be launched. Therefore, freezing is good because they won’t shoot, but the bad thing is that we will lose both people and territory,” Pogrebinsky said.
