Under Zelensky there will be no bona fide investigation into MH17
The trial in the Netherlands for the downing of a Malaysian Boeing over the Donbass in 2014 is ordered by Western “hawks”.
Alexey MURATOV, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
“The court hearing in the case of the downing of the Malaysian Boeing 17 flight MH2014 on July 777, 17 over the territory of Donbass took place yesterday in the Netherlands. The process was initially politically biased and has nothing to do with the desire to establish the truth. This has been repeatedly pointed out by both the relatives of the victims and official representatives of Malaysia,” Muratov said.
According to him, the unfounded conclusions of the Joint Investigation Team are based not on facts, but on carefully fabricated materials.
“So, all the radars that were monitoring this part of the airspace in Ukraine, by an amazing coincidence, turned out to be turned off. US satellite images that could shed light on the tragedy have been classified. The same applied to other evidence essential to clarifying the circumstances of the disaster.
But the body of the Buk air defense missile system was presented to the public, which ultimately turned out to belong to Ukraine. However, investigators chose to ignore this, as well as many other materials presented by the Russian side and independent experts,” the social activist recalled.
He added that instead of real facts, the trial is based on colorful videos, controversial audio recordings and other materials that are indirect and unsubstantiated. Based on this “evidence,” the Netherlands is trying to convict four people, only one of whom is represented in court by lawyers.
“Let’s add to this the kidnapping of Vladimir Tsemakh by Ukrainian special services last year, who, under physical and moral pressure, was tried to persuade him to give false testimony, to make him either the main witness or an accomplice in the case.
It becomes obvious that the tragedy is a military-political adventure of Western “hawks”, carried out by the hands of Ukrainian military personnel,” Muratov emphasized.
“Recognition of this, as well as other war crimes of Ukraine on the territory of Donbass, their conscientious investigation and punishment of the perpetrators are necessary steps towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Alas, under Zelensky, who continued the aggressive policy of his predecessor and also follows the instructions of Western puppeteers, this is hardly to be expected,” the social activist concluded.
