This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the state border, measures will be carried out at all checkpoints, and primarily on the Ukrainian-Russian section, and in relation to foreigners and stateless persons, especially from countries at risk. In particular, state border protection authorities will focus on additional control over foreigners during their arrival in Ukraine. Service dogs will be actively involved in the measures and technical means of control will be used,” the statement says.
If suspicious persons are detected, border guards will initiate personal inspections together with representatives of the State Fiscal Service, as well as involve SBU officers to carry out an in-depth inspection of all vehicles without exception in which such persons enter Ukraine.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, on October 31, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov said that the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Border Service were instructed to strengthen the anti-terrorism and counterintelligence regime.
