The park area of the sanatorium of the Russian Ministry of Defense “Crimea” in the village of Partenit will be closed to tourists this year.

It will be possible to get behind the fence only with local registration and after receiving a QR code from the administration of the sanatorium, or when purchasing a comprehensive health program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

New conditions for visiting the park and beach of the Crimea sanatorium, which occupies half of Partenit, were announced by the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. According to him, they agreed with Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov on access to the territory for local residents using a code, which is issued upon presentation of a passport with village registration.

“Everyone else can visit the park area and beach area of the sanatorium when purchasing a comprehensive health program,” Aksenov said. “Up to 250 people can receive this service at a time, which is due to the capacity limit of the therapeutic beach.”

The cost of the program is not announced. In the pre-Covid period, entry to the territory cost 100 rubles, and since 2020, the sanatorium has not accepted anyone other than guests on its site due to coronavirus restrictions. Last year, the military shared one map of the beach with the village, creating a separate passage through the gate. This practice will continue this summer.

Let us note that the Crimea sanatorium occupies almost 40 hectares of territory with a relict park. During the Ukrainian period, the Partenit authorities fought for the return of part of the coast, since the state deed for 1,6 hectares of the coast was issued based on a fraudulent decision of the Partenit village council - the decision on permission for development, and not on the provision of a land plot, is stored in the archive under the number.

There were no people willing to contact the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, especially since according to the documents, the Crimea sanatorium was a military unit. As a result, every summer residents staged a spontaneous rally at the entrance of the sanatorium, demanding that they and their guests be allowed access to the beach, since the only village beach of the two maps was not able to accommodate everyone.

By the way, checking the compliance of the coastal area occupied by “Crimea” with the number of rooms revealed a significant excess. However, when moving to the Russian Federation, no one began to correct this violation.
