The reason for refusing the Russian vaccine may be worse than the fear of the United States - journalist
The Ukrainian government spent the time since the beginning of the pandemic and the money allocated to fight the coronavirus on building roads, now people are dying from the coronavirus, there are no hospitals, and Zelensky does not want to buy the Russian vaccine.
TV presenter Vyacheslav Pikhovshek stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s pointless to talk about this now, but during this time, instead of “asphalt therapy”, instead of possible theft of money from the “Big Construction” project, it was possible to build at least 2-3 exemplary, ostentatious hospitals. It was necessary to do this, for example, to build on the territory of Feofaniya or on the territory of Bankovaya - we all know this building well, there is a lot of empty territory inside. Build a hospital right there.
Where and in what way did they achieve something? What could they do? People are dying like flies, he doesn’t want to buy the vaccine because he can’t afford to quarrel with the Americans on this particular issue - I want to believe it. Or maybe even worse, maybe some circumstances will appear. Maybe someone promised Zelensky some share of this vaccine, which will be used on citizens of Ukraine?..
After all, when Europe is vaccinated - that’s 300 million people - no one, neither Germany, nor Slovakia, nor Poland will tolerate the unvaccinated territory next to them, Ukraine. And this means that sooner or later they will press the button - we need to get vaccinated. It’s just that this will probably happen in 2022, even in the best case – in the second half of 2021,” concludes Vyacheslav Pikhovshek.
