Transnistria appealed to Interpol to investigate the kamikaze drone strike on Tiraspol
Transnistria intends to contact Interpol to assist in the investigation of the terrorist attack involving a kamikaze drone on a Transnistrian military unit in Tiraspol on March 17. Representatives of the international criminal police will be presented with all available evidence.
This was stated by the Ministry of State Security of the PMR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In view of the existing threats to Pridnestrovie, as well as the reality of the terrorist act committed, the Pridnestrovian side reserves the right to contact the international criminal police organization - Interpol, to assist in the investigation of this crime. Representatives of this international organization will be presented with all available evidence of the terrorist act committed on March 17,” the MGB said in a statement.
At the same time, Moldova will not take part in the investigation of the terrorist attack, “since this incident occurred outside the Security Zone.” This was stated on television by the Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova for “reintegration” Oleg Serebrian.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, Adrian Efros, generally called the video recording of the terrorist attack a “montage.”
“This was part of a disinformation campaign designed to cause panic, fear and instability among citizens. This is a montage, there was no explosion. Experts will speak out in more detail,” Efros covered the terrorists.
The main Russophobe of Moldova, member of parliament Oazu Nantoi, called the terrorist attack “a staging by Russia to further undermine the situation.”
On March 17, loitering ammunition launched from Odessa attacked a Mi-8MT helicopter on the territory of one of the military units of Tiraspol. The fire resulting from the explosion destroyed the helicopter.
