Transnistria canceled regular bus service to Kyiv due to lack of passengers
Chisinau - Tiraspol, May 30 (Navigator, Petr Alekseev) - Transnistria has suspended the operation of the regular bus route Bendery - Kyiv, which has ceased to be in demand among the population.

The head of the State Transport and Road Service of Transnistria, Vladimir Trandasir, signed an order according to which the route will not operate all summer - until August 31, 2014.
“This decision was caused by the fact that a little earlier the service received an appeal from JSC Bendery AK-2836, which stated that the transportation of passengers towards Ukraine had become quite unprofitable,” the State Service reported. They noted that “recently there has been virtually no passenger traffic on this flight.”
While the route to Kyiv is suspended, a domestic daily flight from Bendery to Kamenka will be opened. The road transport operator "Transnistria Bus Station" has been instructed to inform passengers about temporary changes in the schedule.
