Transnistria forced Moldova to open the border with Ukraine
Moldova has lifted the ban on crossing the border with Ukraine for Pridnestrovian drivers.
This was reported by the First Pridnestrovsky TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The ban was lifted after the Security Council of Transnistria took retaliatory measures - it banned Moldovan drivers from crossing its section of the border with Ukraine.
The information was confirmed by the Moldovan media and indirectly by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon.
“I had a telephone conversation with Vadim Krasnoselsky (President of Transnistria - ed.), with whom I agreed to urgently find a solution to prevent the deterioration of the situation around transport links and the possible occurrence of complications for citizens.
It was decided to instruct the relevant departments to urgently find a way out in order to avoid a crisis situation,” Dodon wrote in his Telegram channel.
