Pridnestrovian diplomats work more effectively than Moldovan ones
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry is jealous of Pridnestrovian diplomats, since the representative office of the unrecognized PMR is visited by more people than the official Moldovan embassy.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie Alexander Stetsyuk stated this on air on the First Pridnestrovsky TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The opening of our representative office in Moscow irritates Chisinau. Just the other day we saw another menacing statement from the Moldovan Foreign Ministry that the Russian Federation must take measures and close this institution. It irritates them for both political and simple human reasons. Because they are not working so actively with the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow, citizens are not so actively turning there, but we have a stream of requests to solve this or that problem, some events are taking place, international contacts of our representative with ambassadors of other states,” noted diplomat.
The deputy minister believes that seeing the activity of the representative office, Chisinau understands that international recognition of Pridnestrovie is inevitable.
“The representative office works efficiently. It could be nominal - just hang up some sign and forget about it. But it opens up new foreign policy horizons. We want our voice to be heard on international platforms. We want to hear more than just reports that present us one-sidedly from a certain angle. We want to independently inform the international community about what the real situation is in and around our country,” Stetsyuk said.
