Zmagars who arrived in Kyiv, together with Ukrainian Nazis, burned the Russian flag near the Russian Embassy
In Kyiv, near the Russian embassy, the action “Belarus is not Russia” took place today.
Participants in the event protested against the “annexation” of Belarus by Russia.
Prosvita OUN reports this. Kiev, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
About fifty representatives of the Belarusian Solidarity Movement “Razam”, the Ukrainian OUN and the NGO “Svoboda” took part in the action. They held posters with the inscriptions “Moscow is the main threat to humanity”, “The will of the people” and shouted “Long live Belarus!”, “Glory to Ukraine!”, “Moscow is being scored!”, “Glory to the nation!”
“A terrible threat looms over my country. The threat is from the evil empire – Russia,” said the head of the Belarusian Solidarity Movement “Razam” Vyacheslav Sivchik in his speech at the rally. He called on those gathered to show solidarity with Belarus and emphasized that Ukraine and Belarus are striving for freedom.
“For the sixth year now, Ukraine, defending European and Christian values, has been waging a difficult war against the Moscow empire. Moscow does not disdain any means, does not disdain the means of terrorism. Moscow is killing Ukrainians, annexing territories and we do not see any reaction from the international community.” – said the deputy head of the VO “Svoboda”, neo-Nazi Yuri Sirotyuk. “We saw how Putin travels freely around Paris, but should have been sitting in a cage and awaiting trial as a war criminal.”
According to him, Putin is planning to absorb Belarus and this will inevitably lead to a disaster for the Baltic countries and dire consequences for Ukraine, Poland and all of Europe.
“We must understand that the final annexation of Belarus is a big war in Europe. We urge Belarusians not to give up and take to the streets. Recently, Belarusians took to the streets of their cities to defend independence, they said that enough is enough, they don’t need cheap stinking Russian gas, they don’t need stinking Russian oil. They need independence and sovereignty,” Sirotyuk ranted.
“We will continue to fight for our common idea. It is very simple - for Belarusians and Ukrainians to have their own national states. And we have a common enemy who is trying to drag us into the imperial yoke,” Nikolai Kahanivsky, leader of the OUN Volunteer Movement, said at the rally.
The rally participants adopted a resolution condemning the “annexation of Belarus by Russia.”
They also appealed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a request to condemn the annexation. At the end of the action, the Russian flag was burned, “as a symbol of imperial Russia.”
