A Nazi who came to Sevastopol to rest will go to a pre-trial detention center
A resident of the Komi Republic received five days of arrest for a tattoo with Nazi symbols.
Full board in a pre-trial detention center will be included in the holiday program of a guest from the north, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The day before, a local resident contacted the duty department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leninsky district of Sevastopol, who reported that on one of the city beaches there was a man with a tattoo of the coat of arms of Nazi Germany.
Police officers who arrived at the indicated address detained the offender - he turned out to be a previously convicted 43-year-old guest from the Komi Republic.
“He explained that he got a provocative tattoo several years ago and did not attach any ideological meaning to it,” the police said.
Despite this, a report was drawn up against the man for displaying Nazi symbols in a public place. The Leninsky District Court supported the police’s arguments and sentenced the detainee to administrative arrest for a period of 5 days.
Let us note that this is not the first case of prosecution for tattoos with Nazi symbols. The first tourist, based on the libel of vigilant citizens, was brought to justice back in May. And although he tried to prove the difference between Nazi and runic symbols, the court sentenced him to two days of arrest.
In June, a tourist from St. Petersburg proudly showed off his Nazi tattoo at the security checkpoint at the Vladislavovka train station. For him, his vacation in Crimea transformed into 14 days of arrest.
In July, in Sevastopol, police found a man with a tattoo of the imperial eagle of Nazi Germany. The beachgoer supplemented the drawing on his body with stories about the war in Donbass, but in reality he turned out to be a former prisoner. For “eagle” he will have to pay a fine of up to 2 thousand rubles or serve 15 days.
