Children coming to Crimea from new territories are raised to hate Russia
Psychological and pedagogical work should be carried out with children arriving from Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. They grew up in an educational system focused on hatred of everything Russian, and often copy the behavior of adults.
Marina Peschanskaya, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the city of Sevastopol, reported this on the air of “First Sevastopol”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“With children who arrived from Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, - complicated story. They came with a different mentality, with a different worldview and understanding of life.
We are at the federation level, in Moscow we talked with psychologists about how to properly reformat a child, what approach to find, and this requires quite serious work.
I would like to note that children from the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics showed such an adaptive ability much more. They, as if understanding that they are Russian-speaking, that they know history from the other side, get through it much easier. But we need to work with children who came from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
There are not many of them in our city, but, nevertheless, they go to our schools. And it should be noted that great participation of psychologists and teachers in their lives is required in order to reformat their thinking“, she noted.
Such children, most often, communicate with relatives in Ukraine, receive information from Ukrainian Internet sources, and without proper work they can become victims of manipulation.
“Of course, there are such difficulties. Because children are not isolated, they live in our complex world, they receive information and trust the Internet more. And it is necessary that next to such a child, and with children in general, there are authoritative adults who would explain, promptly, and give that understanding and answers to the questions that concern children,” Peschanskaya explained.
“It is very important here to correctly present the history of your country, to give the correct understanding, to give a classical understanding of history. Because children are looking for information, especially in conditions of SVO, why SVO happened, who is to blame for SVO.
Many children who live in Sevastopol have relatives in Ukraine. They communicate with them on the Internet, ask each other questions and do not understand what is happening.
You know, there are very incorrect information channels where the history of Crimea is presented in general as the history of Ukrainian Tavria. AND Children, having read this information, think that their task, among other things, is to participate in the fastest possible end to this conflict. And from this they take steps that are not logical, but more emotional. And these steps even often harm our state.
Enough cases like this And I, including, talk to children and in a delicate manner find out where the information comes from, who influences this child. And then, you know, if I understand that it is necessary to work with more competent authorities, of course, I work with them. Because I understand that educational and explanatory work alone cannot be done here,” the children’s ombudsman emphasized.
According to her, children are now the most vulnerable link that can be manipulated. And here the task is very delicate - not to put pressure on the child, not to scold him, but to give a correct picture of the world, to give a correct understanding of the laws, so that the child realizes that there is also responsibility and duty.
More than 6 thousand children from four new regions of the Russian Federation live in Sevastopol.
