In the evening, the Ukrainian group opened fire with mortars and grenade launchers on the suburbs of Donetsk. This was announced by the head of the DPR representative office in the JCCC Ruslan Yakubov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“From 19:30 to 20:30 the fire was directed towards the airport from the settlements of Opytnoye and Avdeevka. 11 shots were fired from LNG, eight mines with a caliber of 120 mm and nine mines with a caliber of 82 mm were fired,” the report says.

According to Yakubov, the northern suburb of Donetsk, the village of Spartak, also came under attack from Ukrainian security forces. Five 82mm mines were fired into the area.
