The head of the PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said this on the Telegram channel “Signal”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, according to Prigozhin, Russia needs another mobilization and preparation of new reserves.
“We are waiting another two to three weeks for Belgorod, Zaporozhye and so on. PMC "Wagner" today is the only structure, full-fledged, with airplanes, helicopters, artillery, everything else that is necessary - electronic warfare, drones, reconnaissance - satellite, ground, intelligence, which is capable of doing something.
I said that I needed 200 thousand people. Less than 200 thousand people on the Lugansk-Donetsk front line will not cope. We are ready to take full responsibility,” said the company’s founder.
Now, in his opinion, Russia may lose new territories.
“We will suffer serious losses now, I am absolutely sure of that. We will probably lose some of our territories now. And this is part of the territory of the Russian Federation. When they held that same referendum, did anyone think about what Kherson would have to give up? Did anyone think that we would now call this Russia?
If you called Russia, die. Everyone had to come to the contact line - the State Duma, all officials, anyone. The entire Kremlin had to reach the line of contact so as not to lose a single square meter of Russia. Are we giving away Russian land today? Why then was it recognized as Russian? Therefore, society is all at a loss,” Prigozhin concluded.
