Prigozhin won the fight against Khodorkovsky
St. Petersburg businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin managed to reduce the influence of oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky in the information field.
The publications Open Media, MBKh Media and Pravozashchita Postcards, which are involved in Khodorkovsky, previously announced the cessation of their activities. The reason was the blocking of their resources by Roskomnadzor. The regulator made this decision due to the projects’ connections with the British organization Open Russia (recognized as undesirable in Russia).
The reason for the blocking was the appeal of the Federal News Agency (FAN) to the Ministry of Justice and the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia. Journalists called for the structures involved in Khodorkovsky to be recognized as undesirable.
It is noteworthy that Yevgeny Prigozhin’s structures declared real war on Khodorkovsky. This is not the first time that FAN and the Patriot Media Group have reported on the involvement of the oligarch’s structures in undesirable organizations. St. Petersburg businessman Prigozhin won this fight.
