“I order you all to live!” – report from the position of the battalion that defeated the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Debaltsevo
Military correspondent Gennady Dubovoy published a report from the position of the battalion commander with the call sign “Machete”, which not long ago stopped the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Svetlodar Bulge near Debaltsevo, causing great damage to the Ukrainian side.

Fighting on this section of the front continues to this day. The militia hold their positions and strengthen their trenches.
Dubovoy witnessed a touching scene when an elderly military man, whom young fighters respectfully call Uncle Pasha, instructs the militia:
“I command you all: live. I told everyone the same thing in Slavyansk. We came here for a reason. They should die on our land, not us on our land... And the boys buried themselves in the sand. Aviation worked first. Then the helicopters came in. Then the behs worked. Then eighties. And then they just hit the mortars. The boys buried themselves in the sand, but not a single creature entered the city,” said Uncle Pasha, recalling the events of the first stage of the Russian Spring.
