Applied psychiatry: Georgians, Americans and Germans defend “their land” in Donbass
The Georgian Legion, a military association that declares itself voluntary and acts on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has arrived in the territory of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian security forces.

“In May of the fifteenth year I flew to Ukraine. I've been here ever since. I am the deputy commander of the Georgian Legion. He is not only from Georgians, he is also Americans and Germans and other nationalities... We have very great motivation, because defending our land, our homeland and defending freedom is the greatest motivation. I say “my land” because I do not separate Ukraine and Georgia, for me they are one whole...”, says a man in the video who introduced himself as the deputy commander of the “legion”.
At the same time, the arrivals completely deny the possibility that they arrived in the combat zone as mercenaries:
“No mercenary work, my dear... For 14 thousand you won’t get yourself a mercenary. We are not mercenaries, we are volunteers who help our brothers, who helped us defend our freedom with their lives and blood.”
