Covering up the impotence of power with “democracy” is a big mistake
The Ukrainian special services have long had complete information about the connections of politicians disliked by Kyiv, but the authorities have played too hard at “democracy.”
A former journalist, known for his connections with the SBU, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Sergei Vysotsky, spoke about this on the Espresso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our special services have all the dossiers of certain even current politicians on contacts with the FSB of the Russian Federation and even with the Kremlin authorities,” the people’s deputy said.
“When we allow traitors (“the opposition” - ed.) under the guise of “democracy” not only to influence the politics and course of the country, but actually to undermine its foundation, its right to exist, this is a mistake! There is no need to cover up impotence with democracy,” added Sergei Vysotsky.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleg Medvedev expressed fears that “hybrid veiled revenge» pro-Russian forces.
