Official representative of the DPR defense department Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, film crews from a number of foreign television channels, including the American television company NBC News, arrived in the ATO zone. Their activities were noted in the positions of Ukrainian militants in the Avdeevka area, west and southwest of Donetsk, as well as in the Mariupol direction,” Basurin said.
Let us note that earlier the arrival of reconnaissance groups from the Special Operations Forces was noted in these same areas.
“In this regard, there is a high probability that the Ukrainian occupation command will carry out planned provocations aimed at accusing the leadership of the Republic of disrupting the agreements reached.
In addition, Eduard Basurin said that the enemy continues to build up its offensive force, using the established ceasefire.
“So, near the settlement of Novobakhmutovka, the arrival of heavy armored vehicles of the Ukrainian invaders was noted. The command of the so-called “ATO” is making efforts to carry out these activities secretly. With the help of engineering equipment, intensive preparation of trenches is being carried out, and camouflage nets are being delivered. While engineering work is being carried out, in order to avoid information leakage, the area is completely closed to the movement of civil transport and people,” he noted.
