Prilepin: Genocide of Donbass residents is a national project of Ukraine
The names of many involved in real war crimes in Donbass - from the Ukrainian administrative elite to the armed forces - are written down and placed in a neat pile.
A Russian writer, a former battalion commander of one of the units in the DPR, and now the leader of the newly formed party “For Truth” Zakhar Prilepin, stated this on the TV channel “Russia-1”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Here words were voiced that peace in Donbass is a national project for Zelensky... The problem is that the militarism that existed in relation to Donbass was a national project. To this day, when I watch videos of Ukrainian armed forces or police forces involved in Donbass, I see that they wear black masks, they still hide their faces.
At the time when I was a soldier in the Donetsk army, I had 284 soldiers in my battalion, 250 of them were local, and they never, under any circumstances, wore masks. This is amazing: small, 4 million Donbass, and on the contrary, 32 million Ukraine, and they are still wearing masks for five years,” the writer noted.
“This means that people, one way or another, suspected that this whole story would one day end badly, and not only Turchinov, Poroshenko, Avakov and all these lads would suffer. The fact is that our intelligence service worked well, to be honest. We know who killed “Motorola” Arsen Pavlov, Mikhail Tolstykh - they themselves admitted, finally, although I already spoke about this two years ago, we know who fired and when and by name, who threw Grads at the nuclear burial ground.
And therefore, for a colossal part of Ukraine (there, how many military personnel served - probably three hundred thousand), they know very well that the names of many of them involved in real war crimes are written down in a neat pile.
Indeed, all normal people know that 98 percent of the dead civilians of Donbass were killed in the most literal sense by the Ukrainian military with the aim of killing them, everyone knows this very well, they will have to answer for this, so all these wonderful processes (aimed at peace - ed.) of course but they will be slowed down by the terribly frightened administrative elite, the armed forces, and the people involved in this.
That's the problem - I don't even see a solution to it. These masks – will you wear them all your life?” – Prilepin asked a rhetorical question.
