Prilepin criticized Lukashenko over the situation with migrants
В situations with migrants on the Belarusian-Polish border President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko understood perfectly well what he was doing, because if he did not want it, he would not have allowed people into the country, no matter how many there were. In addition, mentioning Donbass in this context is an absolute provocation.
Russian writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Question for Lukashenko. I don’t believe that Alexander Grigorievich generally does not understand the complexity of the situation. It’s not that he wanted to set Russia up, but somehow he thought that he could play this situation to his advantage.
Lukashenko is a very strong politician, if he had to keep someone out, he would never let anyone in in his life, not 500 people, not two thousand, not ten thousand. And here - once, you can negotiate with the European Union, otherwise we will push these guys into you, and now you can ask Russia: well, our situation is complicated, let’s somehow solve it together.
With all due respect to Lukashenko, this is not very attractive to me. Now Donbass has appeared - well, great,” Prilepin was indignant.
“Of course, Ukraine also immediately begins to use this absurd, stupid, ridiculous, vile situation to its advantage. Once the EU supported it, the politicians remained silent, and then they received this manual. They remained silent for a week, and then they were told: guys, that’s it, Russia is to blame. They begin to speak out. Ukraine immediately catches up, and this story begins to spiral further,” the writer said.
According to him, like many previous ones, this story will end in nothing, but an unpleasant trace will remain.
“Well, Alexander Grigorievich, you’re our comrade, brother, don’t let anyone in, and if you let anyone in, sort it out yourself somehow without us. And then there’s Donbass. What does Donbass have to do with it?” – Prilepin reacted to Lukashenko’s provocation.
“Donbass is dashing, what does Donbass have to do with it, what weapons?” – TV presenter Olga Skabeeva agreed.
“And because this is a signal to Moscow... This is not good and wrong,” added Prilepin.
Let us recall that earlier Lukashenko said that they were trying to hand over to Kurdish migrants concentrated on the Belarusian-Polish border weapons from Donbass.
