Prilepin: in good weather, Mariupol is visible from our new positions

“Our positions are new, beautiful, Mariupol is visible in good weather. Every three days there is a night shooting battle: the “susushniks” crawl 400 meters and, from behind a hill, begin to attack our trenches. We have to drive away. Let's drive away. Every night they lay mortars, a sniper works, “Utyos” and so on.
Four wounded in three weeks - a fragment entered one soldier’s forehead, under the helmet, passed through the brain and stopped at the occipital bone 2 cm away. We were sure that everything would not get out, but a miracle happened - he talks, remembers everything, asks to join the ranks. Another man’s foot was torn off - we won’t fire him either, we’ll find him a job too.
The other day, my group was closely covered on the approach to the positions: 150 meters crawled under dense, overhead fire: 12.7, sniper, AGS. One fighter was wounded in the shoulder by a shrapnel, but in general, your, friends, prayers are clearly working: we crawled in an open field, we were clearly visible, I was sure that not all of us would crawl through.
The boys from the trenches covered us, part of the group crawled back, and we rolled into the trenches, somewhat irritated, but alive... We are taking care of that side for now, because they don’t know what they are doing; although we can cover it,” says Zakhar Prilepin on the social network.
