Russian writer and newly minted politician Zakhar Prilepin responded to reproaches regarding participation in bygone years in protests against the Russian authorities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What to hide, I remember, I turn on the TV, the central channel, there are government youth sitting there, who are nurtured by the state and say that we must wait until the last Soviet pensioners die and close and destroy the Mausoleum. These young guys were on Channel One, they were no different from the current Navalny, they made the same speeches.
