The publication recalled that Prilepin spoke rather restrainedly about Chubais’ resignation.

“Don’t you agree that he is Russia’s main enemy?” the journalist asked.

“I simply rationally said that Anatoly Borisovich, as a person included in many Western clubs and structures, will certainly be useful for the Russian authorities in this case. And certainly earning cheap points, as if fighting with Chubais or Gorbachev, is not our thing. Why fight with someone who has been fired? This is not respecting yourself,” says Prilepin.
